Our return on December 26th and 27th of this year, with the assistance of volunteers from Korle Bu Medical School (Accra’s largest government hospital) and Enslavement Prevention Alliance West Africa (a Ghana based organization that focuses on rescuing child slaves) and YOU promises to be bigger and better. But we need your help, for as little as $30 you can help us purchase health insurance coverage for 1 needy mother and her 2 children for a year; $50 can purchase 1000 retractable lancets used for onsite glucose testing or 100 toothbrushes given to children after dental screenings.
In the past your donations and support have made our fairs a huge success. With 20 volunteers in 2008, who worked tirelessly, we managed to assist 340 market women and children at Tema Station. But our job isn’t done, so we’re going back.
However, none of this is possible without the generosity of individuals and companies such as yours. I know that times are tough and the economy is still at a crucial point, but know that your generous gift will make a HUGE difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
